Problem Statement

The product team waited weeks on engineering for every new chart. Existing tooling could not handle the event volume and queries timed out above 10M rows.

How We Solved It

We migrated the warehouse to ClickHouse, built a typed query layer with safe parameterization, and shipped a drag-and-drop dashboard builder with versioned shareable views.

Outcome

P95 query time dropped from 14s to 380ms. Non-engineers now ship 90% of dashboards themselves. Engineering reclaimed an estimated 30 hours per week.
