Problem Statement

Field technicians relied on paper forms and end-of-day data entry, leading to lost reports, 3–5 day reporting delays, and no visibility into job status. Connectivity at job sites was intermittent.

How We Solved It

We built an offline-first mobile app with a local SQLite store and a deterministic sync engine. Conflict resolution is handled server-side with CRDT-style merges. Background sync runs whenever connectivity returns, and managers get near real-time dashboards.

Outcome

Reporting latency dropped from days to under 5 minutes. Form-loss incidents fell to zero. Technicians completed 28% more jobs per week.
